Jon and Pat work in the International Office of SIM (Serving in Mission), in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Jon is a Deputy to the International Director and is responsible for selecting, training and leading six SIM area directors over eleven countries in West Africa where some 350 missionaries work. This requires frequent travel for Jon while Pat remains at the office and home for health reasons. Pray that God will give SIM leaders and missionaries courage to continue taking bold initiatives in church planting and in encouraging churches in their local and missionary outreach, at home and overseas, in an increasingly turbulent world.
