Royal Family Kids' Camp is an international ministry to abused and neglected children. Specifically, it seeks to mobilize the local church to meet the needs of these children in their own community by establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with County Social Services and providing for the children a one-week camping experience to create positive memories. This summer it expects to serve 4,500 children in 116 camps across the country. The local camp, which serves forty-eight children from Allegany and Wyoming Counties each year, is sponsored by Houghton Wesleyan Church and is made possible because over fifty people volunteer their help. Pray (1) for the children who will attend camp this summer; (2) for John Van Wicklin and his volunteer staff; (3) for the vision of the national office to establish one camp in every county.
